I know I’ve said it before {many times} but I really do have the best clients. The best. Working with Catherine + Paul was a dream. Catherine envisioned very clean + chic decor; using a tonal palette of grey + white. I was immediately smitten and loved helping bring her vision to life. Grey + white chevron, a DJ spinning and a late night taco cart were just a few of my favorite elements of the day. I also really loved the way Paul looked at Catherine. These two couldn’t be more in love and I’m so flattered to have been a part of their day. A special thank you to The Observatory for the images and a big congratulations to C + P. XOXO – Jamie

I stumbled upon the most adorable Etsy shop this week. Potter + Butler designs the cutest little cake toppers I’ve seen. I love the use of fringe, mini poms + balloons, chalkboards and glitter. These toppers make the most simple of cakes adorably chic!

Pantone has named tangerine the color of the year and we couldn’t agree more. We love a palette with a bold + fun splash of color! Tangerine, sea foam and grey are a perfectly pretty + chic combination for a summertime wedding.

Mini Monster Studio Opening

We’re so happy for our friend Jennifer Hughes, who recently opened a gorgeous photography studio in Baltimore. Jennifer is an amazing wedding + children’s photographer. Checkout her beautiful portfolio here. The new studio is beyond gorgeous and makes the perfect backdrop for portrait sessions. Fifteen foot ceilings, bright white walls + floor to ceiling windows – it doesn’t get any better than that! I can’t wait to take my Mini Monster for her first photo session next month!

We love any opportunity to host a party and Easter is the perfect holiday to celebrate the arrival of spring! We like to keep decor classic + simple for holiday gatherings. White tulips make the loveliest floral arrangement and work well with any color palette. We also love the use of natural elements like wooden farm tables and burlap runners. Add a punch of color with bowls of brightly dyed Easter eggs and your table is set! Happy Easter to our lovely readers!
